A Baby Blessing

On Father's Day our friends celebrated the arrival of their baby girl. Our beliefs mean we don't baptise little babies; instead we have a baby blessing which is similar to a prayer where the baby is named. The blessing itself takes place within the normal church service. After church our friends had organised a picnic for family and close friends to socialise, celebrate and give cuddles to the little one. Each family had their own picnic basket full of goodies to eat. There was also a table full of drinks and cupcakes for all to enjoy.

It was such a privilege to be asked to capture the memories from such a special day!
