Baby Shower

Friends and family organised a book-themed baby shower for me.

We are fortunate to be loved by many people who are excited to meet our little one.

We decorated the room with book page bunting from our wedding. Before the gift giving we played a few quiz-style games.

We had to match the titles of popular children’s books with their first lines. The next game was guessing the book title from the emoji clues. Then there was a ‘baby’ song game, people were given the group/singer and had to write down the song title containing the word ‘baby’.

We asked people to complete predictions about and write messages to our little one.

It was the perfect, relaxed celebration for someone who has struggled with hyperemesis gravidarum throughout pregnancy.
