Camera Bag
I love to use my DSLR camera. I know there are people who love the camera on their phones and no longer reach for their DSLR. I don't think I will ever reach for my phone camera if my DSLR is available, I just don't think the quality is as good. Yes DSLR cameras are big and bulky and it can be a pain to carry them round with you. It's a price I am willing to pay. I love having my big camera with me on days out to help me capture the perfect shot.
My old camera bag was from Canon, it was large, black and screamed to the world that I had an expensive camera on my person. I felt conscious of this and struggled to bring myself to take my camera out with me. I found that I was leaving my camera at home rather than using my camera bag. I didn't want to be missing out on photo opportunities because my camera bag wasn't ideal.
I have a very amazing Handsome Man who recognised the disadvantages of my camera bag. For my birthday he organised with my parents to buy a new camera bag for me and I love it! I love the freedom it gives me to carry my DSLR camera with me without it being obvious to the world.
Documenting our lives has a lot to do with having our camera available to take photographs and capture the moments. If you're happy using your phone camera that's amazing, keep doing what you're doing. If you prefer to use a DSLR then I really recommend getting a bag you're comfortable using on a daily basis. You want that camera on you and ready to take photos.
My new bag is from Jo Totes and is the Gracie Butterscotch design. This post is not sponsored. I wanted to write about my bag because I noticed I have been able to document more as my camera has been on me more.
