Today My Handsome Man is on set for a film he is producing with some of his fellow students from Film School. I am totally sneaking on to the set to document behind-the-scenes (without getting in anyone's way, of course), so I can include photographs in our Project Life Album later. Documenting life is part of my every day. Whether in the form of taking photos, editing photos, putting layouts together, sharing things on Instagram, or writing things for this blog - whatever the task - I want our stories documented. I want our life recorded.

Today is International Scrapbooking Day. Sometimes my scrapbook can reflect our day-to-day lives but lack a real insight into our personalities: the things we like; the things we dislike; our hopes and dreams; the things we spend our money on; our hobbies; lists of books we're reading; things we stumble upon that make us pause, reflect and change; and the things we choose to wear on a daily basis.

I want my scrapbook to document all of the above, I want it to document our lives and the people behind the day-to-day. Documenting life shouldn't just be about capturing the big, life-changing events, but capturing the tiny, ordinary moments, too.

My Handsome Man has a pretty awesome t-shirt collection. If you are not aware, the reason we are in Canada is so he can attend Vancouver Film School. It makes sense then, that a lot of his t-shirts celebrate some of his favourite movies, T.V. shows and/or characters.

I think my favourite t-shirt from his collection is one we purchased from Redbubble (not a sponsored post), which was inspired by The Lord of the Rings. I had lots of fun online trying to find the right t-shirts for his birthday present; ones that both I liked, and he would appreciate.

0O7A7175It cracks me up every time he wears it. I love it!

I really enjoyed taking a few minutes out of our day to do this mini photo shoot of his t-shirt collection. I love that we now have photos of all of his current favourite t-shirts. I love that with a few swipes on the Project Life App I was able to bring them together in a layout. I love that what he wears reflects his personality and interests in such a big way.

What can you document today?
