picnic bunting On Father's Day our friends celebrated the arrival of their baby girl. Our beliefs mean we don't baptise little babies; instead we have a baby blessing which is similar to a prayer where the baby is named. The blessing itself takes place within the normal church service. After church our friends had organised a picnic for family and close friends to socialise, celebrate and give cuddles to the little one. Each family had their own picnic basket full of goodies to eat. There was also a table full of drinks and cupcakes for all to enjoy.

There were lots of photographs taken with extended family. Too many to include them all.

Sometimes children don't want to cooperate with photographs but at other times they are really in the mood for photographs and you get adorable results.

06 21_2445_edited-1As it was Father's Day it seemed only appropriate to get a photograph of father and daughter.
