A lockdown birthday

I think most of us have experienced a lockdown birthday by now and they’re … weird.

In a time where all days seem to blend into one it’s hard to make a birthday stand out. We were discussing this on his birthday, how it feels a bit of a let down (with trying to stick to a budget and post not arriving or arriving with no packaging so he knew what he was getting) and then we looked out the window to see it had started snowing.

We decided to make the most of the weather and enjoy a walk in our local woods. As we walked and chatted I felt so grateful for him.

So, although it wasn’t how we would have liked to spend your birthday, My Handsome Man, I hope you enjoyed it.
